Frequently Asked Questions

 How do I get started?

First thing to do is make a secure payment online through our website. We accept Visa, Mastercard®, American Express®, Discover®, PayPalTM, JCB, check and money order. We require campaigns to be paid in full before we schedule the video shoot or begin creative development and reserve any media on your behalf.

What is included with my video?

Depending on which package you select, your video will include a live shoot at your place of business, digital images, stock video clips, royalty free music, ad copy writing, professional voiceover and digital effects. In addition, your video will be published to the top video sites.

Do I get to see my video before it goes live??

Once the video is finished, an email with a link to your video is sent to you for preview. You will have five days to review your video. You'll be allowed up to 2 rounds of revisions (such as factual errors or basic changes), then once you approve, we'll send you the code to add to your website.

How will I get my finished video?

To embed your video on your web site simply copy the embed code from the web site and add it to your web site code where you want the video to appear. If you typically use a web master to make these kinds of updates simply provide them with the code and instruct them where to put it.

How can my video be used as a marketing tool?

You web video can be used in emails, blogs, social profile pages (such as Facebook) or web ads; and can be featured alone or embedded in existing websites. You can use it right on your website and it will be accessible to all potential customers at the moment they're considering your services. Twenty-four hours a day.

 Where will my video appear?

You will be able to add your video to the Web site of your choice. Additionally, your video will be automatically distributed to the Top 10 video sites on the web including YouTube, Yahoo!, Google Local and more. These sites receive more than 100 million monthly unique video views.

Can you assist me to get my video on my Web site?

You bet! eMarketing Video will gladly walk you through the process of uploading a video to your site.

Can my video ad be longer than 60 seconds?

Yes, you can add in increments of 15 seconds. So 15, 30, 45, 60, etc., for an additional cost (phone or email for price quote).

What can I do with a video created by eMarketing Video?

You can use the video anywhere on the Internet, or have an ad network distribute your ad. Use it on your Website or in a PowerPoint presentation. Send it in an email. The choices are many. Your video can help to increase your ranking in search engine results and to draw in new traffic to your company website or retail store.

How is this online video different from a television commercial?

Unlike a television commercial, the videos we produce are not explicitly a sales advertisement for your product or service. Instead, it might contain factual information about your product, your happy customers, or give your prospects an inside glimpse into your business' personality. In addition, an eMarketing Video is far less expensive than what you would pay for a television commercial.

What is the first thing I need to do after purchasing a Premium "On Location" video package?

We will contact you to schedule the shoot (with email notifications of when shoots are scheduled) and to determine if you have any assets (logos, images) that you want included.

How long will the On-Location video shoot take?

The shoot lasts 60-90 minutes from start to finish. The videographer films the business and conducts an interview with you or a spokesperson of your choice. Once that's done, everything else is completed offsite.

What if I don't like being on camera?

If you feel uncomfortable in front of the camera you should designate an employee to act as spokesperson for the company. Title doesn't matter; choose someone with an effervescent personality who can express the benefits of your business in a memorable way.

Will I have to close my business for the On-Location video shoot?

No, eMarketing Video uses one filmmaker and takes advantage of natural lighting to eliminate the need for complex set up and shooting requirements.

What happens on the day of the shoot for the Premium On-Location video?

The entire shooting process will take between 60-90 minutes. It's simple and straightforward:

1.  On the day of your scheduled shoot, an eMarketing Video filmmaker will arrive at the appointed time to shoot your video ad.
2.  The filmmaker will conduct a brief consultation with you to identify key elements of your video and the different messages you want to communicate about your business. He will have you sign the necessary releases for your video.
3.  The filmmaker will walk through your location to find the best spots to conduct the interview. If you wish to be in the video, the filmmaker will spend the next 15-20 minutes interviewing you on camera. If you don't want to be on camera, you can either be interviewed or read a script off camera; or an employee or person of your choice can be interviewed on your behalf.
4.  The filmmaker will film different parts of your business to match the audio captured during the interview process.

We want to show your business in action, so be sure that you schedule us during a time that you're busy but will have time for interviews.

Do I need to write a script for the On-Location Video Package?

At eMarketing Video, we are all about real people speaking passionately about what they do in an authentic manner. That is not only our style, but is the standard for the web.

Our unscripted video style makes the subjects seem more authentic and real, which is what the audience is expecting on the Internet. While it is not necessary to have a script, we do ask that you write out at least 3-5 key points, so you and the videographer are on the same page, and we don't leave anything out that you wanted in your video.

What is the first thing I need to do after purchasing a Standard video package?

Preparation is the key to achieve the greatest results. To help you prepare, a short video questionnaire is emailed to you that will provide us with additional information about your company and your goals for your video. Completion of this questionnaire is the most important step in creating a quality, customized video ad for your business. The questionnaire should not take you more than 15-30 minutes. An eMarketing Video client services representative will call or email you within 2 business days to review your answers prior to creating your promotional video. You then provide emarketing Video with any images, logos, photos, and contact information to be included in video production.

Can I provide my own footage or pictures?

Absolutely! Businesses can re-purpose assets (audio, photo and more) they've already created for static ads, radio ads or even their Web site, to save even more money and time. If you have any images or footage you'd like us to use, let us know and we'll send you instructions for how to get it to us.

How long does it take for the Standard Video?

The typical timeline for producing a standard video project (up to 90 seconds in length) is approximately two to four weeks. Of course, this timeline is dependent on the response time from the client. For example, once we write the script and submit it for your review, we generally expect to receive your feedback within three days. If you are unable to return the script within this time frame, your video's turnaround time will increase.

Conversely, if you are able to quickly return revisions of the script and finished video, we may be able to shorten the timeline. Upon final script approval(s), video production begins.

Can I choose the music for my video?

Due to the difficult legal environment surrounding music use in video eMarketing Video manages the music selection in accordance with state and federal law. If you have originally-composed music you may use the music upon signing the proper release forms.
